Here are your Labor Day Events in Vermont for 2016!

The end of summer is something that no one in Vermont really looks forward to, even though our fall and winter months are spectacular in their own right. That said, it isn’t like summer is gone already. We’ve got Labor Day to look forward to, and there are scores of great events near our South Burlington and Barre dealerships to consider. Green Mountain Stage Race | Warren to Burlington | Sept. 2-5

Whether you’re an avid cyclist or just like to see feats of athletic prowess, the Green Mountain Stage Race has become one of the most famous events of the Labor Day holiday. It is comprised of four different races, with stages being held in Warren, Duxbury, Fayston, and Burlington. It’s the largest Pro/Am road stage race east of the Mississippi, so get involved!

Mad River Valley Craft Fair | Waitsfield | Sept. 3-4

Now entering its 46th year, the Mad River Valley Craft Fair provides an assortment of outstanding keepsakes, artisanal crafts and gifts, all set against the scenic backdrop of the beautiful Green Mountains. There are also activities for children, as well as live music all throughout the fair. It’s fun for the whole family, and it’s only a few minutes away. Don’t miss it!

Garlic & Herb Festival | Bennington | Sept. 3-4

The festival that you can smell for miles around! The 21st Annual Garlic & Herb Festival returns to Bennington with its usual array of outrageous provisions, from garlic jelly to pickled garlic and everything in between. There’s also a beer and wine garden to enjoy, with live music from regional favorites on each day. Children will also have plenty to do, with workshops and activities to take part in.

Mount Snow Brewers Festival | Mount Snow | Sept. 3-4

Labor Day and beer go together like peas and carrots, and this all comes to a head with the Mount Snow Brewers Festival. For the 22nd year, the festival returns to offer potables from more than 50 different breweries featuring 100 different taps. There will also be all sorts of food on deck, along with live music from Jeff Tuohy Band and Jay Taylor. It’s a bit of a drive, yes, but it’s worth every mile.
