Halloween Events and Festivals for 2019 near Barre VT

Autumn in New England is simply a different kind of fun. The fall foliage is some of the best in the nation, and once the weather starts to get colder in October, our eyes shift to one holiday that shines brighter (and just a little creepier) than the rest – Halloween! We know you’re excited to break out those costumes you’ve been working on and head out with your friends for some spooky fun, so Poulin Auto Sales wants to help you out; check out some of the best Halloween Events and Festivals for 2019 near Barre VT!

Halloween Abduction

The Elks Lodge in town is always a great spot to have a great time with your buds, and that’s no different come October 25 – you’re invited to don your best costumes and head over to the venue for an awesome, Halloween-themed EDM show, headlined by Abstractivve, DJ Alpha, and more!

Halloween Apocalyptic Afterparty

Located right on the New Hampshire border, Bradford’s The Space is always a fun time no matter the season. On October 26, it’ll be hosting a Halloween party with a full costume contest (with prizes for the winners), plenty of drink specials, and even glow sticks. We can’t wait, but seeing that Bradford is around 40 minutes away from Barre, if you’re planning on drinking, always have a designated driver!

Shelburne Museum Trick-or-Treating

If you’re looking for something a bit more family friendly for the holiday, check out Shelburne Museum up near Burlington on October 27. There, you’ll get to trick or treat on the museum grounds with your kids, and there will even be some games and music to enjoy also!

PumpkinPalooza

Also in the Burlington area is Essex Junction, which will be hosting its very own Halloween festival on October 30, dubbed PumpkinPalooza. Come by Maple Street Park to check out a full exhibition of jack o’ lantern carvings, as well as smores and a bonfire. We can’t think of anything chiller to wind down the festivities before the main event!
